Where is My Mind?

The Lion King was awesome. Now that's one musical to have nice close up seats. It was funny, the three of us (me, laura and janice) were walking and looking for our row and we're seeing the stage coming closer...and closer...and we were still walking towards our row! Oh man were those bomb seats. We could easily see the actor's facial expressions and see how the puppetry and costumes worked. During most of the first hyena scene all i did was stare at they hyena costumes, trying to figure out how they managed to work them so fluidly and so well! Overall it was a delightful treat to experience, i highly recommend seeing it before it leaves LA! and sit as close as you can afford!

Speaking of the Pantages....the pantages sucks! Ticket price wise, i mean. I cannot believe that most of the orchestra and mezzanine tickets for The Producers are the maximum price! It's so ridiculous; if you didn't want to spend too much, you're pretty much stuck to the balcony or the rear corners of the mezzanine. Which SUCKS. grrrr. I wish there was some frequent Theatregoer dollars or miles or some system like that because i want comp seats! guest seats! free seats!

Busy weekends are so tiring. I'm gonna go help myself to more Madeleine L'Engle books.
