ah, what a week. i love vegging out, but i get headaches if i'm watching too much tv or reading too much in the same position. i got myself readdicted to Harry Potter in the past week...read all 4 books, watched the dvd, watched the preview, downloaded the preview, and looked at countless pages of news and pictures from the new movie, fanart, you name it...it still goes on. jan and i were watching MIB2 but we skipped the previews and headed next door to Scooby doo and watched the harry potter preview and then headed back to MIB 2. heheh. i'm so weird. but it was soo cool to see the preview on the screen, albeit some scenes had some weird film notation thing in the corners.
the hollywood bowl's 4th of july celebration was enjoyable as always. i don't remember what years i missed it, but every time i go it's fun. john williams was conducting this year and they played many of his signature pieces. his encores were the star wars and indiana jones themes. i was hoping for harry potter, but no luck =(. hehe. the random encounters were seeing the asian guys i worked with at the music center working there at the bowl. it was weird seeing morno and steven again, but they all look pretty much the same. morno's still the hottie - erin agrees he's the cutest out of all of them =). unfortunately i didn't get to say hi to them, but they probably don't remember me anyways...i'm pissed at myself i didn't get a picture of morno...hehe...he was standing by the stage and i had such a good look at him with some binoculars...i should've taken a pic with the binoculars as an additional zoom lens (hey it works! i did it at the figure skating exhibitions and the pic came out well)...hehe so i'm thinking of going back there just for the guys. and the good music, of course....hehehe. and the weirdest things kept me, jamie, and erin cracking up. for instance, jamie and i saw one firework go off before the big group of other fireworks...it just looked so odd, this premature firework, we called it, and we simply cracked up. also, while waiting for the shuttle to take us back, we were doing some weird ballet moves erin was telling us to do...i swear, we were so sober, but we were acting so drunk it was funny.
so this week's the big road trip to yellowstone. just me and my parents. fun! yay.
