memorable moments from the past week:

Hanging out with friends and family back home was great. The most memorable moment was, by far, when i surprised the c-reps at the end of the retreat saturday afternoon. i was hoping to get there in time for the eval tours, but it was already winding down and people were leaving. As i went up the stairs to the admin building i ran into Steve and Taryn, who were pretty surprised to see me, and Dale kinda gave me a double take before saying hi. The best part was approaching the small crowd in front of Admin...Steph Lo first saw me and the look of shock on her face was priceless as she said, "OH MY GOD!" and ran to me to give me a hug....one by one the other reps equally dropped their jaws and displayed looks of shock and disbelief and said "OH MY GOD!" as i just laughed and gave everyone hugs...it was great. man, i miss the reps so much. Esther, the last Goonie, is graduating this year....it's the end of an era!

The other memorable moment this week happened as Christian and I were heading back up to the office from the 2nd floor caf. We were heading to the elevator and Pat had just come down the stairs, saw us, and stopped. I hadn't seen Pat since i got back, and when he stopped, he had some kinda of shocked look on his face, but then his eyes kept darting between me and Christian as we walked toward him. Like FOUR TIMES. it was like he was watching a tennis match. I played it off like it was nothing, and Pat *finally* said, "you're back!", to which i replied, "i've been back...i've been working!" It was funny....Christian and i were laughing about it later... you could see it in Pat's eyes, he was putting two and two together, we think...and he wasn't very smooth at covering his shock. lol.

Federal holiday tomorrow! and the LBC is gonna be abroad, and i'm going to the beach! yeah!!!
