happy days
life has been a few shades brighter the past couple of weeks. work is going okay, i have a crapload of work to do on my personal statement, but i haven't been this happy in ages. epochs. eons. i've been going to sleep and waking up with a giddy smile on my face, been caught daydreaming randomly, and sometimes sit in disbelief at the string of events that have led up to this, how unbelieveably lucky i am, and how great things are. and i'm extremely glad at how everyone to whom i've excitedly talked about this is simply ecstatic for me. :) it's about damn time, and i'm more than ready to move on and welcome whatever happens.
