Busy week, boring day:
Going back to cali was awesome. It was so nice to see everybody again. Although it was June Gloom, it wasn't 90 and humid.
HIGHLIGHTS:
oh yeah. virginia beach was fun. QT with my cutie. :) it was weird not seeing the sunset over the ocean.
ICE BLOCKING! The coolest activity to come out since Kings. I did two new things - went backwards and on my stomach (on separate occasions) Videos and pictures are online (videos on scott's site - see link on left, pics on yahoo)
Laura swimming in the Infinity Pond. oh my god. and she was totally sober.
The grad ceremonies went by awfully quickly this year. Laura and Nancy graduated with ICS of all schools, but it was nice. The guest speaker didn't give much of an inspirational talk though...some quotes i recall run the context of "many of your ideas will fail" and something that seemed to insult engineers, designing things just because they can. Inah's ceremony went by unusually fast, but that was a good thing. It was a long and tiring day.
So now i don't know when i'll be going back to SoCal! :( I'd like to be back when Lynne is in town, but i doubt that can happen with how busy i'll be with apps and work and stuff. But i did get a nice welcome back when Christian surprised me with flowers at the airport. again. :)
Jeff's bday festivities yesterday were a lot of fun. FINALLY he's 21. We had an awesome time at dinner and at the Tombs afterwards. Tapas on saturday for Erin's belated celebration. yay!
