Saturday night wasn't as fun as Friday night, but the day was very chill. I met up with Erin at the university and we had something to eat at the Tombs, chilled and chatted, met up with Ryan and chilled and chatted with him too. Lots of chilling and chatting today. Sometimes i still feel somewhat inadequate compared to her friends at Georgetown because they can talk up a storm, and i'm more quiet than that, but i can talk sometimes too. depends on the subject. (they're more humanities and i'm more science too). Prior to dinner things got a little intense on the subject of erin's future, which kinda set the mood for the rest of the night. we had a late dinner at Chili's and went to this party, which wasn't as fun as hanging out at the bar the night before. now i'm pretty easygoing and have a decent time at most places, and it was cool seeing and talking with her friends a bit, but the vibe this time was more boring at most. i would've been better doing more chilling. maybe watching a movie or dvd. at least the alcohol was free. so we all parted around 1 or so, i don't remember, and i showed erin my europe pics and videos.
i never realized how far i lived away from the city until Emmet drove us back last night and the night before. and erin left her cell phone here so i have to go back all the way down there today.
so i'm still a bit worried about this friends business. like, i have friends at work, and i can hang out with erin's friends, but it seems like they are isolated into their own specific circumstances - i hang out with my work friends at work/after work, and erin's friends when erin's in town. other than that, i'm doing things on my own, because i still feel uneasy about trying to integrate myself into their circles. i should try meeting up with Sean one of these days as well.
