Hm, haven't posted in a while. What's been up? not much, just a lot of school and research. I gave mad tours this past month - they were all pretty good, and i was even Rep of the Week one time! i was excited about that =) made my week. i'm contemplating playing softball with the reps today. maybe! and i feel like i'm befriending my neuro friends a little more - they've all been really nice to hang around with. see, i've known them for almost an entire year, and it's only now that i'm warming up to them. it always takes me quite some time to warm up to people, and it's a little unfortunate in this case because most of them are graduating this year. it's still fun though, i'm enjoying it a lot. i think it's neat how we can randomly talk about science things into the conversations and we all have a basic idea of what's going on. science friends rock. not that my other friends don't rock (not at all!) but it's a different perspective/dimension in the whole dynamic scheme of things.

i need some time to think about birthday plans - i don't know what to do yet! i agree with what jon said, you don't feel 21 until all your friends are 21 and you can all go out and have a good time. but i still want to do something...even though i have a paper due and a midterm the day after my birthday, and the UROP symposium is the weekend after..hm, but there's saturday night. ah, maybe it won't be too bad. we'll see.
