Hmm....it's been a busy busy vacation this year...i'm pretty proud of all the stuff i've done....jury duty...going out with with different friends...driving places near and far...finished my Cambridge scrapbook (it pales in comparison to Julia's though! Hers is awesome - captions, quotes, top 3-5 lists, etc!)...got to see Flo again...playing, of course...Christmas wasn't too bad...and vacation's still going on! i love it.
today i went out with erin before she finally leaves for ireland. who knew the beverly center wasn't all that far from los feliz? maybe i'll check it out more indepth sometime in the future. we checked out the houses in Hancock Park afterwards....it's a really nice neighborhood, it's just that it's situated between so many major trafficky streets, it kinda deters from it....but the houses are niiice. My favorite neighborhoods are the los feliz hills, century city, hancock park, and san marino. Anyways, we saw these 2 really gaudy looking houses...if anyone's in the area, they're on 3rd street...around Plymouth? i forget, but yeah...they're both on the corners....can't miss 'em and their decorations. People were stopping by, staring (like us), and some even were taking pictures in front of them...it was interesting.
In other news, i'm trying to be less of a hopeless romantic...it's either the cynicism, or the futility of it that's getting me. Guys can be so freakin complicated sometimes. Or they're just not with it. Or maybe it's me. Who knows, but as much as i love romance, it sure can get cheesy at times. I've caught myself thinking "oh how fucking romantic" at those instances. Romance can go to hell.
...Unless there is that special someone...
